Ann Deddens has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, beginning her career as a private in-home ABA therapist. She earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Assessment with certification in Cross-Categorical Special Education K-12. She worked for Special School District as an Applied Behavioral Therapist for 2 years in the Lindbergh School District prior to teaching for 5 years in the Ladue School District as a Special Education Teacher. Ann tutors students grades K-12, specifically providing guidance to students who have ADHD and Executive Functioning concerns. In 2009, Ann received the Special School District’s Teacher of the Year and Emerson’s Key to the Classroom award.
Though content in his career in technology and sales, Ryan Parker turned his personal interests in history and a desire to help others into a new career as a social studies teacher. He graduated with a Secondary Education Degree (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. Ryan especially enjoys teaching social studies and science classes together because it gives more opportunity to help students learn how the subjects cross paths and depend on each other. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys quality time with his family, watching baseball, and writing. He has written numerous articles for an entertainment website and has been published in a book about baseball history.
Matt Maher received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2010. Matt received a scholarship while attending SIUC and was placed as the Music Teacher Assistant at Thomas Grade School in Carbondale, Illinois from 2008-2011. Matt is currently pursuing his Music Education Certification and Masters in Arts and Teaching from Lindenwood University. For the past year, Matt works for the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments as the Teen Group Facilitator. Matt also currently teaches private lessons at Coeur to all ages and abilities.
Kellie Wittich graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor Degree in Child Development with a Minor in Child Care and Guidance and Autism Studies. She has 3 years experience working at the Autism Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. Kellie has experience providing Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy with children who require explicit instruction to learn and generalize new skills.
Emma Kelly received her Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences with minors in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2016. She earned her Master’s in Public Health Degree from Mizzou in May of 2019. Emma studied abroad in South Africa to teach English to grade school children living in poverty in 2015. During her final year of undergrad, she interned as the social media chair for the Thompson Center for Autism. Her youngest brother attends Coeur Academy, and she has 5 years of experience working as a Certified Respite Care Provider.
Steve has a Bachelor’s Degree in Math from St. Louis University. Upon graduating college, he started his own technology company and spent the next 25 years consulting for companies of all sizes. It was during this time that he started consulting for Coeur Academy and was able to see firsthand the interaction between the teachers and students. When asked if he was interested in becoming part of the team and teaching math at the school, he jumped at the opportunity to help prepare the children for their future.
